How This Works

Damask’s proprietary gluten free mix is made from a blend of rice flour, whole grain brown rice flour, tapioca starch, and potato starch. After YEARS of testing, we can confidently say this is the best gluten free cake mix on the planet. 

You Will Need: 
1 Stick (1/2 cup) of unsalted butter
3 Eggs
2 Tbsp of any milk of your choice

Baking Mix
Madagascar Vanilla Extract
(2) Parchment Cake Rounds
(1) Toothpick to test doneness

19 OZ package (1 lb 3 oz) 
Makes two 9" round cakes 

Baking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Grease 2 nine-inch baking pans with butter, then dust with flour (flour sachet)
3. Put one stick (1/2 cup) of softened butter into a bowl. With a blender on medium-high, whip the butter. Add the two tablespoons of milk, a little at a time, continuing to blend until creamy for about 1 minute and 45 seconds. Set aside.
4. Pour cake mix into a separate bowl, add (3) three eggs and (1) one cup of water to the mix
5. Blend cake mix, eggs, and water at medium-low until incorporated for 15 seconds
6. Add vanilla extract (vanilla sachet) and blend on medium-low for 10 seconds
7. Add whipped butter (step 3)  into mix and blend on med-high for about I minute
8. Use a spatula and fold the mix to ensure the batter is fully blended - don’t overmix
9. Pour mix into pans (about 3 cups per pan) and bake for 20-25 minutes 
10. Check doneness with a toothpick (included)  after 20 minutes. Then every minute thereafter until the toothpick comes out clean
