Heat 1 ¼ cups of water, add cocoa flakes, and mix until melted.
Combine cake mix with the chocolate water and blend for 25 seconds.
Add eggs and vanilla, blend for 15 seconds.
Add whipped butter and blend for 45 seconds.
Fold batter gently — don’t overmix.
Pour into pans, bake 26–30 minutes, and check with the included toothpick.
